In "The Human Condition," Kevin Simón Mancera Vivas brings together multiple themes that have been present throughout his artistic production. The exhibition is divided into three main sections: the body, the celestial, and desire; each delving into questions that shape our reality. The section on the body explores its finitude and the awareness of our end, something that defines us as human beings. This idea compels us to seek something to believe in and create something by which we will be remembered, leading us to the second part of the exhibition, the celestial. These drawings explore the need for spirituality in an era filled with uncertainty and reflect the unease associated with death. The final part of the exhibition focuses on desire, the force that determines our lives and drives us to make transformative decisions. The exhibition invites reflection on issues inherent in our fragile humanity, highlights the challenges of living, and brings us closer to the simplicity and beauty of existence itself.
