Kevin Mancera focuses his interest on He Book of Disquiet Pessoa's work and investigates the existential questions of the narrator and main character. From forty-two (42) fragments, the artist creates his paintings in a personal dialogue with Soares, with extraordinary subtlety, about the circumstances and feelings to which we humans are doomed on a daily basis. Soares feels abandoned by God and, in addition, the uncertainty that the future generates in him leads to anguish and despair. At the same time, his loneliness becomes a determining factor for the boredom that he expresses while waiting for his death. These confrontations externalized in the book, generate a parallel between the aphorisms and the zoomorphic figures.
