In Beatriz Olano's work there is an interest in intervening in space in order to modify the way it is perceived. These interventions generally have a pictorial character, while also addressing other media such as drawing, sculpture or installation. This approach to space challenges the notion of limits in an attempt to extend painting to the point where it can be seen as a limit.
