Marc Straus Gallery, New York, in collaboration with Nueveochenta Gallery, Bogotá, is pleased to present Structures of Meaning, A group exhibition that brings together a selection of artists from its program. The show proposes a detailed exploration of how contemporary practices address material, form, and narrative with frameworks through which meaning is reconstructed, destabilized, and reimagined.
Encompassing sculpture, painting, textile art, and object-based works, the exhibition focuses on proposals that challenge conventional hierarchies between object and image, between function and abstraction. Throughout the show, materials are not merely vehicles for form, but also active agents in shaping perception, inviting viewers into a space where interpretation remains open.
