From November 9 to December 19, Nueveochenta presents the exhibition"Without your light I live sadly", a sample of the artist Kevin Simon Mancera, which speaks of the fleeting nature of time, farewells, pain, memory and loss, without leaving aside the characteristic sense of humor that accompanies the works.
"Without your light I live sadly" recreates the artist's personal experiences, in a deep intellectual exercise, marked by reflection, research, humor and distancing. The work explores drawing as an attempt to recover the unattainable: whether it is the absence of loved ones or the longing for lost places. Through the works of Mancera, art is presented as a victory against oblivion, a fight to immortalize what is captured.
