The exhibition proposes a non-obvious reading of Carlos Rojas' work, by bringing together nearly forty two-dimensional pieces, whose circulation has been limited in exhibition spaces, publishing houses and academics. The works presented here come from different periods; thus, this exhibition moves away from the illusion of continuity or chronological evolution in the artistic process, to unfold the conceptual, material and compositional concerns that permeated the artist's work.
The exhibition is structured around three axes of reflection, which address: the approach to intimate space, the process of formal synthesis, and the importance of materiality in the artist's production.
