"Man of Name" is an installation by José María Rubio, constructed through a process of exploration of male figures and a personal examination of the individual and his context. It is a collection of found and modified objects, images, and video that present a glimpse into some of Bogotá's men and the men-only social clubs in the city center of the early 20th century. The discovery of a handkerchief sparked a collection of objects and images related to these social clubs and the type of man idealized there.
