Natalia Castañeda (Manizales, 1982) approaches the landscape through the idea of contemplation, a method that has allowed her to understand the environment and the forms that make up the territory. She approaches nature, understood as a sublime entity, through painting, drawing and sculpture, in a process where she questions the ephemeral nature of natural elements, contrasted with the permanence of objects created by humans. Her work is part of the collections of the Banco de la República de Colombia, the Fundación Cisneros Fontanals -CIFO, the Museo de Antioquia, among others. She lives and works in Barcelona.
