Using the knowledge of masonry, pellet making, and even bricklaying, Ricardo Rendón will give body, solidity and balance to the works that make up this exhibition. As a result, the craft – the possibility of creating with one's hands – becomes a central axis of his proposal.
In “It Happens Now” new agents are invited to participate: the force of gravity, the weight of matter, the flexibility and rigidity of the materials are what determine the shape that the pieces take. The systems allow the encounter between these agents: the masses influence each other, creating games of weight and counterweight. Only at a unique and determined moment does the work find its balance. At the precise moment when the forces cooperate and stabilize, the work emerges.
