From November 8 to 12, Nueveochenta will be the home of the 26 works selected to participate in the 2022 Colsanitas – Spanish Embassy Young Art Award.
This exhibition is novel and refreshing, but also multiple, diverse and committed. The commitment to address social issues, to defend difference, to speak from points of view that have been systematically excluded and to give legitimacy to these voices is manifested through a plurality of media and gestures. Serious, minimalist works, others witty, sharp, funny. All are the result of a reflection and a dialogue with the social structures that surround these young artists.
Nueveochenta is pleased to host these stories and be part of the evolution of young art in Colombia.
