EXHIBITION INFORMATION:
On the Nature of Daylight materializes two of Tarazona's interests, already present in his work, geometric figures and landscape. The first, as part of the compositions of collages and intervened photographs, in projects such as ODAM (2012) and the second, as part of their study of nature.
The construction of these pieces suggests a reproduction of the landscape, in which details are abstracted and the beauty of nature is presented in a new language. In other words, Tarazona translates his vision and understanding of nature into a series of horizontal lines composed from different shades of color. His drawings are a first approximation of this study, where he plays with tonalities that are later translated into medium- and large-format paintings. In this exercise, the artist dispenses with curved lines or any type of gesture and presents a detailed study of the harmony of color and its combinations.
