I believe it is necessary, as Fernando Uhía has stated on some occasions, to produce art without identity-based verbiage about the misfortune of some sectors in Colombia that have suffered the indiscriminate scourge of violence, displacement and all the human and inhuman fatalities that we must endure both in the news and in some art exhibitions.
In this sense, I have decided to produce art with abstract characteristics that encompass meanings outside of maps and political boundaries. That is, to propose images that suggest messages or readings related to science fiction, the unreality of our imagination, poetry and human existentialism.
