Extending the boundaries of the painting outside the frame, the illusion of floating intervenes on the floor of the gallery. Using an old pictorial genre, trompe-l'oeil (trick of the eye), I create visual appearances that confuse the viewer's perception, reproducing different textures of urban materials. I also extend the lines of the wooden floor and raise some sheets, giving a watery appearance to solid surfaces.
