In his recent work, Jaime Tarazona breaks away from the monolith present in his earlier work to continue his exploration of modernity through a study of birds, an observational methodology that raises questions about the evolution of the image in relation to our desire to represent the intangible. Thus, his gaze on birds, his appropriation of the iconography associated with their representation, and his detailed analysis of their capacity for flight seek to make visible, through visual art, that energetic impulse inherent to living beings.
