Anyone who walks through Bogotá today will recognize a hybrid and contradictory city, made up of unexpected interactions and temporary assemblies that are reflected in its dissimilar architectures. For years, Jaime Ávila (Saboyá, 1966- Bogotá, 2020) walked the streets of Bogotá and made the act of walking the central axis of his thinking and creative process. Without being a retrospective, this exhibition brings together a series of pieces articulated around Ávila's urban experience, particularly as a pedestrian.
