The Palace Suit
Jaime Avila (Saboya, Boyaca, 1966)
July 12 – August 14
Since its foundation, Plaza de Bolívar has been the central axis of the city of Bogotá. Today it is the heart of power, being a place of daily transit for the politicians who run the country, merchants whose economy depends on the dynamics that develop there and tourists who visit it for its emblematic character. Thus, the buildings that surround it are, perhaps, the most important in the city, not only because they are architectural jewels, but because they have witnessed centuries of history, built from demonstrations, trades and knowledge of their surroundings.
