Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar 100 years aims to pay tribute to the centenary of the birth of the renowned Colombian artist who has been remembered as one of the first Colombian and Latin American abstract artists. The exhibition proposes a journey that moves away from the chronological, focusing on the conceptual and formal reflections that ERV materialized in his drawings and paintings as well as in his reliefs and sculptures. His work reflects a strong commitment to the study of the three-dimensional, abstract, organic and pre-Hispanic, inspiring and influencing local and regional, modern and contemporary artists who have rethought their artistic interests.
