“To stop the sigh” is to contain exaltation, to interrupt a pleasurable moment, to endure a contemplative feeling. In her most recent project, Natalia Castañeda invites the viewer to discover a landscape obstructed by manual gestures and industrial waste, using painting, drawing, ceramics, and video to compose a scene that questions our way of apprehending and consuming matter.
