In Archives, inventories, essays and notes on painting, Luis Hernández Mellizo produces a series of pieces with a profound investigative level and from a pictorial thought, which in the midst of the chaotic system of exhibition cannot be confused with an unfinished process or as a simple preliminary exercise. For this exhibition, the artist proposes an extensive research process, which develops from the decorative conception of painting a wall, passing through the reinterpretation of classical pictorial styles, until ending in the same contemporary destylization of painting and creative arbitrariness.
