EXHIBITION INFORMATION:

Following the 1966 Florence flood, the dismantling of historic murals uncovered preparatory drawings hidden for centuries, which profoundly influenced Sol LeWitt. Inspired by these sketches, LeWitt developed *The Location of Six Geometric Figures*, a series of instructions for defining the composition of geometric forms. Building upon this reference, Sandra Nakamura created an electroacoustic installation that translates the invisible processes of artistic creation into sound. Based on the gallery's architectural dimensions, the work functions as an abstract score that the public can bypass, transforming the space into an instrument that reveals the inherent musicality of the creative act.

The Anschauung project stems from a series of experimental pedagogical programs developed during the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, influenced by the theories of Friedrich Froebel, creator of kindergarten in the 1840s. The project focuses on support materials developed for "lessons through experimentation with objects" (Anschauung in German). For each of these programs, different materials based on geometry, color, and volume were designed with the intention of fostering, for the first time, the understanding of abstract concepts through play, without the need for grammatical or numerical symbols.
