Lester Rodríguez explores financial fluctuations, the thoughtless extraction of natural resources, and the inequalities perpetrated by generational wealth. The artist does not, however, limit himself to pointing out economic phenomena on a global scale. He strips away statistical data to find within them the real, sensitive subject that inhabits these landscapes and that is often rendered invisible behind the numbers: the human experience.
