Uncertainty, doubt and ignorance of what happened are a constant that haunts survivors and relatives of victims of disappearances in Colombia. The only certainty is the human remains that lie in the so-called mass graves. These are clandestine cemeteries that are increasingly being found or reported by the perpetrators under the application of the so-called Justice and Peace Law. Through this law, crimes are confessed and reparation is made to the victims as a post-conflict strategy in search of a lasting and sustainable peace, which is another episode in the contemporary history of our country.
