EXHIBITION INFORMATION:

Since its opening in March 2007, Nueveochenta has been designed as a space to disseminate Latin American contemporary art, essentially focusing on creating a group of Colombian artists with a projection not only locally but also internationally. Similarly, the Peruvian gallery Revolver arose from the need to create a platform for contemporary art in Lima that would internationally disseminate the works and projects of a group of artists who emerged in the last decade. After various conversations in different artistic spaces, a long-term project was outlined in which both galleries decided to exchange spaces – including their cultural contexts – and experiences in order to compose a kind of counterpoint whose melody is none other than that of constantly working on the accompaniment of the artists they represent and the establishment of transcultural dialogues.
