EXHIBITION INFORMATION:
Young art is defined not by age, but by attitude. It's an energy that rebels against the established order, embraces risk as a method, and understands creation as a form of critical and sensitive thought. In a context of constant cultural and visual transformation, young art asserts itself as a space for close observation and for giving form to what is still formless.
This edition of the Young Art Prize aims to recognize this attitude as the core of contemporary art: practices that don't just seek answers, but rather inhabit the questions themselves. This year, the focus has organically shifted toward a decentralized perspective, from which processes emerging in different regions of the country broaden the understanding of what we mean by young art in Colombia. This territorial diversity brings to the fore multiple languages, concerns, and ways of imagining the present.
