In his most recent project, entitled Images that Blur in Time, Esteban Peña recreates iconic photographs of events that have marked the history of Colombia in the last two centuries, with the aim of highlighting a visual problem linked to the way in which we perceive images: what do they tell us and how can we interpret them based on their material condition? Each of the pieces generates a specific message, hence the use of ash, cream eraser and salt for its configuration.
