"Purely Consumerist Geometry" is a project that continues Barbarita Cardozo's line of research reflected in "Optical Power." The artist continues to link the textile productions of major international fashion houses with artistic movements that serve as inspiration for creation and design in the fashion industry. The pieces presented in this series are appropriations of the patterns and geometry used in textile design from the 1960s onward, which she ultimately reproduces in materials such as leatherette and other similar materials.
