In Matías Duville's body of work, different interests coexist, related to the forms of image production and the construction of imaginary landscapes, close to fiction. His work was developed from unconventional materials - and at times even invented representation systems -, generating a degree of tension between the conceptual forms and the very processes of creating his works. The relationship between the material processes and the narrative allows the viewer to create multiple stories from their observation experience. More than a reference to a specific context, the artist works with imaginary topographies that are located on the utopian plane and establish a connection with the introspective processes of each person.
