Color has been studied as part of the inventions that have given way to different formal explorations, which is why the great masters of the History of Art are generally recognized: by their palette. That is, by the color tones from which the artists compose their works. Inspired by the above, María Isabel Vargas explores the holographic color as a palette that emerged from the neon ranges used between the eighties and nineties in advertising and fashion. For the artist, these nuances evoke the aesthetics of a generation that was reflected in accessories, clothing and toys. Today, this same range is used both in fashion and in templates, effects and filters for social networks.
