Georgina Bringas's "Measuring a Wall with Time" is translated as a possibility of exploring and analyzing space, based on the measurement of one of the gallery's surfaces using VHS videotape. For the artist, this resource is a material confirmation of the possibility of containing and visualizing space and time in a concrete manner, and at the same time, abstracting and quantifying in a graphic form all the possible images obtained by making an "analog" recording of a wall in the exhibition hall. The VHS acts as a container for linear and diverse information, which, when overflowing onto the wall like a tape measure, constitutes the vector of a possible "Cartesian plane" that reveals different convergences arising from the space-time relationship.
