Landscape is a genre of art history that developed from the contemplation of nature. However, its idealization, the ways of capturing its environmental characteristics and even the images as constructions of artists, distancing themselves from mimetic representations, have been questioned. Norman Morales' recent project aims to approach this concept from a contemporary understanding, where the artist not only considers the "natural" but also architectural constructions as aesthetic and utilitarian modifications of the human habitat that today are part of the horizon.
