We were close It arises from the convergence of two circumstances: an illness, which forced the artist to confine herself and coincidentally, the pandemic; resulting in the first quarantine becoming long months of isolation. During this period of time, Lorena and Tupac began to paint on a type of paper that, in their daily lives, had several uses. By observing the fascinating behavior of oil on paper, in an exercise of joint production, this became the basis and the color palette of the artists.
These pieces, charged with deep sensitivity and affection, subtly narrate the story of the support, isolation and an artistic process that questions the singularity of authorship. Which, through their work, offers the viewer a space and time of their own, where materiality and color come to life.
