Terán's drawing is almost technical, one might think a machine is producing those lines. When viewing his work, there is a kind of dramatic austerity, a strange beauty in the simplicity of his strokes. This doesn't mean we are looking at a work that lays all its cards on the table; on the contrary, it's a question of whether what we see is truly what we believe or not.
