This exhibition is the fourth in the Collection on Stage programme and is a tribute that the Museum pays to Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar (1922-2004) on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. With an artistic career spanning 70 years, the Pamplona-born master consolidated an unmistakable style characterised by the balanced dynamism of his forms, the negotiation between the weight of the material and the lightness of emptiness, and the ease with which he finds order and balance in the midst of chaos.
The opening will be on Saturday, August 6.
