The 2021 edition of No Place focuses on Danica Phelps' drawings from two different but intrinsically connected projects: Protection Project and Flow Out, Flow InThe exhibition will showcase the artist's latest works and will remain open from April 28 to May 1, in four galleries simultaneously: Colombia, Germany, Mexico and Spain.
No Place is an experimental platform that, since 2017, embodies a new way of exhibiting and understanding contemporary art, changing the framework of action of an art gallery, through a cooperative system between four galleries: NF/ NIEVES FERNÁNDEZ (Spain), Nueveochenta (Colombia), Arróniz (Mexico) and Michael Sturm (Germany).
The Phelps Project Flow Out, Flow In shows the income and results of Protection Project symbolized by green and red lines that accompany the gallery owner represented.
In parallel, during the four days of the exhibition, an online auction without a base price (from $0 USD) is taking place with the works of the project Flow Out, Flow In, allowing the visitor to be part of the project and this great network.
Bidding will begin on Wednesday, April 28 at 12:01 am in Bogotá and Mexico City / 7:01 am European time; until Sunday, May 2, 11:59 pm (Bogotá – Mexico City) / May 3, 6:59 am (European time).
The project encompasses Danica Phelps' conceptual precedents, such as accountability, understanding of the art market and everyday life, as well as investigating the practice of data analysis and the artist's interest in recording events that have characterized much of conceptual practice.
