On September 1st we spoke with the artist Luis Hernández Mellizo about his exhibition Building a better (or less worse) world at Galería Nueveochenta in Bogotá. Among other things, he shared his opinions on how he views the —generally disastrous and improvised— process of building monuments in Latin America. He also spoke about his work methodology, the way he created several of the works in the exhibition, and the way he works with his own visual archive.
