We are pleased to invite you to From the window: Ana Mercedes Hoyos. A retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá. Curated by Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Osbel Suárez, this exhibition brings together key works in the artistic production of Ana Mercedes Hoyos (Bogotá, 1942-2014), one of the most influential artists in Colombian and Latin American art. Although her work moves between figuration and abstraction of landscapes, still lifes, windows and atmospheres, her approach privileges a synthesis and sophistication of form and color. This exhibition is the largest and most ambitious retrospective of the Colombian artist to date. The exhibition is coordinated by Nueveochenta and the Estate of Ana Mercedes Hoyos, and will be open from July 4 to October 6, 2024.
